THE ATTACK TO CLAIM BACK WESTERN FRANCE

The allies attacked along a 50 foot stretch of multiple beaches loaded with bunkers,and mines, with a prepared defense ready for them to attack.

The troops that attacked were American,British,And Canadian.They all landed on 5 different beaches.

There was a weather delay that held up the attack for 24 hours.

The allies attacked in vehicles that could drive on land and also float in water. The vehicles carried army troops and tanks and supplies.
