RELIGION
An organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views
I picked this picture because it shows a series of different religions as books and all of the books are different just like how all religions are different.
ADHERENT
SOMEONE WHO SUPPORTS A PARTICULAR PARTY, PERSON, OR SET OF IDEAS.
This picture shows adherents because these men are Muslim and they are praying to there God so they are following there religions rules.
TENET/BELIEF
An acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.
This picture represents someone accepting there God and worshiping there religious beliefs.
MONOTHEISM
The belief that there is only one God.
I chose this picture because it's showing all of these different religions and how they all believe there God is the only God.
POLYTHEISM
WORSHIP OF MORE THAN ONE GOD.
This image show all the different Gods in one place. This represents how many different gods people may believe in.
ATHEISM
BELIEIF IN NO GOD.
This picture shows a way an atheist thinks. They don't believe in God and often don't have a religion. They believe that there is no proof of any god existing, so they don't believe in one.
AGNOSTICISM
A PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN EITHER THE EXISTENCE OR THE NONEXISTENCE OF GOD.
This image shows a chart of the different levels of belief in God. There are some people who are very certain they believe and there are others who are uncertain like agnosticism.
THEISM
BELIEF IN THE EXISTENCE OF A GOD(S), ESPECIALLY BELIEF IN ONE GOD AS CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE.
I chose the picture of the church because when you go to church that means you have a strong belief in your God and you are going to worship.
