YOUNG ALBERT

• His father was 43 years older than Alberts mother, and his father was 75 years old when Albert was born.
• Original name is Hamilton Howard Fish but wanted to be called Albert after his dead sibling.
• Spent most of his childhood in a orphanage.
• His family had a history of mental illness including mania and hallucinations.
• Enjoyed the beatings while he was at a orphanage.

• Had a relationship with a young boy who showed him to drink urine & ear feces.
• Watched boys take baths.

KILLER ALBERT

• 1890: arrived in New York and began raping young boys.
• 1910: had a relationship with Thomas Kedden. Took Kedden to a barn shed, tied him up, cut half of his genitals off, then left.
• 1919: Albert stabbed a mentally handicapped boy.
• 1928: murdered 10 year old, Grace Budd.(sent a letter to the parents 6 years later)

LATER CONFESSED

• 1924:murdered 8 year old, Francis McDonnell,(hung by a tree,lacerations in legs & abdomen and was also sexually assaulted.
• 1927: murdered a 4 year old named Billy Gaffney. When later asked, his friend, Billy Beaten said he was taken my the bogeyman.
• Fish wrote a letter to his attorney describing the murder of Billy. He stripped the boy naked, strangled him, cut off body parts, ate the meat of the body, then dumped the rest in a river.
