Jaguar

  • Jaguars can be found in North,Central.
  • You can spot them by their yellow or orange skin.
  • The scientific name for a jaguar is Panthera onca.
  • They can live up to 15 years
  • They can be the height of an adult up to their shoulder.

  • There are about 15,000 jaguars left in the wild.
  • The jaguar is the 3rd biggest cat behind the tiger and lion.
  • Unlike other cats jaguars don't avoid water.
  • In fact jaguars are great swimmers.
  • Jaguars are carnivores and they are mammals.
