ECUADOR

Ecuador is in the continent of South America. the bodies of water it borders , is the Pacific Ocean. And the countries it borders is Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. The population is 16.2 million, and the area is 109,483mi 2. And Minnesota's population is 5.45 million , and the area is 86,943 mi 2.

History: the history of Ecuador extends over an 8,000 year period.

Lifestyle/ people: Quite the capital of Ecuador is one of the most comfortable , and affordable cities in Ecuador. And the tax is lower compared to other places tax is $5-$10. and food like meat, rice, vegetables , desserts, and drinks cost $1.50- $2.50. Thats why this is the most affordable city in Ecuador.

Culture: Ecuadorian culture is that no just one single culture. The cultures are pretty much all mingled together. Ecuador's offical language is spanish, but Quicha an incan language is spoken by the indian population.

music/food/religion

  • Pasito is a genre of indigenous latin music in Ecuador in verry poupular.
  • rice, guinea pig, beef, chicken, and corn.
  • Roman Catholic, and some are Christian, and Catholicism.

Holidays

  • Feb 16th and 17th Carnaval.
  • July 24th Simon Bolivars B-day memorial.
  • August 10th Independnce day
  • November 2nd All souls day.

Literature: They have some great writers. Authors not really known outside to country compared to writers within the latin american community.

government: Ecuador's political system is representative demorcay. Its divided into 3 branches, Executive , Legislative, And Judicial.

Ieader/Currency: the leader is president Rafael Correa. And the currency is United State Dollar.
