My creative journey begins with the arts and evolves into all aspects of life. Elements of art are integrated in my thoughts, actions, and the world around me.

Unique Innovative Ideas
Convergent Thinking

A true artist is an inventor, innovator, and entrepreneur. Creating is the artists job.
Materials are used in many new and different ways The process is much more important than the product.

Mathematics

Creative problem solving is central to ones mathematical experience.
Brainstorming, sharing ideas, creating new solutions to problems foster creative thinking.

Problem Solving

Think differently, use a novel approach. Start from another perspective. Use resources and be rich with your ideas. The more the better. Trial and error is key to creativity.

Science

Architecture if a form of art - involving all seven elements. Design elements mirror the society we live in. Current eras and generations model the creative stage of our society.

Structures and Mechanisms
Architecture

Design elements showcase creative thinking and thought processes. Structures are created to provide an artistic illusion.

Language

The English language is creative and evolutionary. Writing, reading, oral language, and media literacy all involve creative thinking and creativity.

Creative writing
Presentations

Poems, verse, essays, and all forms of writing are creative in their own way. Writing can showcase ones voice and creativity. A writer is in essence an artist.

encompass diverse aspects of multiculturalism and our Canadian creativity. Schools and communities share the creative nature of our social society.

Divergent Approach

Having a unique and divergent approach can foster your creativity. Motivation and mentors can guide this process. Having meaningful and relevant learning experiences foster creative thinking and having a creative approach to learning.

Physical Education

Physical education provides an expression of physical ability. The presentation and engagement of games with rules, sports, and exercises integrate creative aspects. Daily experiences in the home or community also provide an outlet for creativity. Environmentally conscious actions also foster being creative.

Utilize recycled materials. Take something old and make something new. Do it yourself projects are flooding social media, encouraging everyone to get involved.
