THE HISTORY OF VETERANS DAY
World war 1ended so they signed an armitice. The United States celebrated. President Wilson made November 11 a holiday called Armitice Day. In 1954 it
was changed to Veterans Day
to honor all Veterans from all the wars.

It's a symbol of Veterans Day. Poppys began to grow after the battle in Flanders Field.
