School

  • Boys went to school and were taught to be scribes.
  • They wrote hieroglyphics on papyrus, that's old fashioned paper. 
  • The boys wrote until their hieroglyphics were perfect.

Girls at work

  • Girls stayed at home with their mothers. 
  • They learned to sew, weave, cook, and clean.
  • Life was easier for the girls than the boys.

Egyptian jobs

  • Egyptians didn't have much jobs. 
  • Women cooked, cleaned, sewed, and weaved. 
  • Some men were slaves. Some just got food  
  • for their families.

Yummy.Food

  • Egyptians usually ate and drank:
  • bread
  • beer (ew)
  • fruits and vegetables
  • beef (a luxury only rich people had)

Homes

  • Egyptians didn't care how big the houses were.
  • As long as it protected them, that's all they wanted.
  • The houses were made of bricks, left in the sun to dry,
  • or pigment, a coloring material, and fluid in the form of oil and water.
