Description..
Battle of BunkerHill started in June 1775, a couple of months after the American Continental army being holding siege in Boston. They were meaning to head to Bunker Hill but ended up on Breeds Hill, the British knew the Colonist had good aim on them and with the first fire from the hill had started the war
(Siege- enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off essential supplies)

PART 1 (FACTS)

  • It was actually on BreedHill thye thought was BunkerHill
  • Two sides fighting were Kingdom of Great Britain and Massachusetts Bay
  • British technically was except for 1,000 casualties
  • Americans were low on ammunition, they were told "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes."
  • Battle of Bunker Hill was the first major battle of the Revolutionary War

PART 2 (FACTS)

  • The battle lasted for 2 days
  • Infamous saying "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes
  • Britian has won by default
  • Started with a view above the colonist, Britain fired
  • first monument at the battle site was an 18-foot wooden pillar built in 1794

IT WAS ORIGINATED IN BOSTON

It took place on Breeds Hill and only lasted 2days

Great Britain and the American colonist

The American colonist didn't not win the battle because they were low on ammunition they had to retreat from the battle giving Great Britain an automatic win
