When world war 1
ended the veterans sighend a armistice. President Wilson made a holiday on November 11 called Armistice Day. In
1954 it was changed to Veterans Day to honor all Veterans .

The poppy is a bright red flower.
The Poppy is a symbol for Veterans Day. Poppy's began to grow in Flanders Field after the battle.
