EXCRATORY AND CIRCULATORY

CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

FUNCTION: TO TRANSPORT PRODUCTS ROM THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEM TO THE CELL

  • Heart: the organ that pushes blood through out the circulatory system
  • Arteries: vessels that take blood away from the heart
  • Veins: blood vessels that carry blood back to the heart
  • Capillaries: connect arteries with veins. This is where materials are exchanged between blood and tissues.

URINARY SYSTEM

FUNCTION: REMOVES LIQUID WASTE FROM BLOOD

  • Urinary Bladder: a sac that stores liquid waste
  • Kidney: filters waste from blood, maintains proper water balance
  • Urethra: carries liquid waste from the body
  • Uretes: carries waste from the kidneys to the bladder

HOW TO THESE SYSTEMS WORK TOGETHER

The urinary system collects and allows removal of BACTERIA from the circulatory system.
