PANHANDLE PLAINS OF TEXAS PROJECT

PALO DURO CANYON STATE PARK

  • We are going on trip to the palo duro canyons.
  • We planning to stay there for 3 nights and 3 days.
  • For these 3 days we are going to be doing some of these activities;
  • Horseback riding,swimming, hunting, fishing, canoeing,
  • rock climbing, and mountain biking. We have 1000$ to use.

THE CAR WE ARE TAKING

  • Toyota Prius
  • Price: already have the car.
  • 48 highway miles per gallon
  • Cost for gas for the whole trip,48$

TRIP MAP

  • 361 miles
  • 7 hour drive with breaks

TRIP DAY

  • We plan to leave the house at 11:00 AM
  • We plan to get there at 6:00 PM, lunch will be 30$
  • At that time its gonna be dusk so we will horse ride for 1 hour till about 7:30
  • We will eat dinner after horse riding.
  • After dinner we will sleep.

DAY 2

  • Wake up at 11:00
  • Eat breakfast. 50$
  • Go fishing til 2:30
  • Eat lunch 50$
  • Go canoeing til 5:00

DAY 2 (CONT.)

  • We will go swimming at 5:30 to 6:30
  • Go to eat dinner at 7:30 to around 9:00, 70$
  • After dinner, we sit by the campfire and make marshmallows.
  • After the campfire we will go sleep.

DAY 3

  • Wake up at 11:00
  • Eat breakfast til 12:30, 50$
  • Go hunting from 1:00 to 4:00
  • Eat lunch from 4:00 to 5:00, 50$
  • Continue hunting from 5:00 til 7:00

DAY 3 (CONT.)

  • From 7:00 to 8:30 we will explore palo duro canyon.
  • 8:45 to 10:00 eat dinner. 50 $
  • Sleep

RETURNING HOME

  • Wake up at 11:00
  • Eat breakfast til 12:00, 50$
  • drive home. And arrive at 7:00

EXPENSE SHEET

  • 400 dollars for restaurant for food + snacks

  • 160 dollars for horse riding
  • 240 canoe renting
  • 140 for fishing
