PRESENTATION OUTLINE

SCHOLARS FLEE TO ITALY

BY BAILEY MAUS

Why did the scholars fleeing to Italy have an affect on the Renaissance?

When the scholars fled to Italy, they brought their new and exciting ideas with them. The scholars influenced more and more people to start learning and a couple of them made classic learning very popular.

After people started learning more, ideas were getting better and this started the Renaissance. People who had a good amount of money could now buy fancy clothes, art, and new inventions.

Because people could buy so much, a new fashion came along, art was changing and getting better, and people were inventing things to use every day. Some of the inventions, like the compass, made traveling easier, and things like the printing press made learning to read and write easier because people could buy more books for less money.

Last, the buildings were becoming stronger and better looking, this was only because people with creativity became architects. These architects created a new style in buildings that we still use today in buildings.
