2.
WHAT IS MATTER?
Matter is anything that takes up space.
EX: dog, sand, chair ect.

3.
WHAT IS VOLUME?
Volume is three-demisonal space.
While measuring volume of liquid use a graduated cylinder.
Also use the meniscus. A meniscus is the curve in the liquid.
Volume is also LXWXH.

4.
WHAT IS MASS?
Mass- amount of matter in an object.
Mass and weight are different because mass is measured with a balance.
Weight is measured is measured with a spring scale.
Mass measures the amount of matter in an object.
Weight measure the gravitational force.
5.
PHYSICAL PROPERTY
Physical property- characteristic of substance that doesn't involve a chemical change
EX: state, density, ductility ect.
Density- the amount of matter in a space or volume
EX: lemons

Jordi Payà Canals
6.
PHYSICAL CHANGES
Physical changes- change from one form to another without a change in chemical properties
EX: a solid popsicle can become a melted popsicle
You can undo a physical change
physical changes don't change the idenity property of a substance

7.
CHEMICAL PROPERTY
Chemical property- matter that shows a substances ability to participate in chemical reaction
EX: Flammibilty- the ability of a substance to burn

Nick Treby
8.
CHEMICAL CHANGE
Chemical change- change that occurs when multiple subs. Change to new subs.
EX: ingredients turn into a cake
