PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD

JESSE BURROUGHS

1.IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM

IT MEANS TO FIND OUT THE QUESTIONS OF THE PROBLEM

1.Example
I studied the broken toy to see how I could fix it.

2.COLLECT INFORMATION

IT MEANS TO OBSERVE,ASK QUESTIONS,RESEARCH ETC.

2.Example
I crashed my car, so I looked at where it was damaged and then called insurance.

3.Make a hypothesis
Making a hypothesis means to do an experiment. Example: I wondered what would happen if I put a cookie in milk.

4. Testing the hypothesis
I put a cookie in milk for 1 minute and it got really soggy.

5.Making conclusions
Making a conclusion means to put and ending on the problem and see how it worked out.

Example
When the hello kitty got to space, the balloon popped and fell into a forest.

I use the scientific method to identify the problem, collect information, make a hypothesis, test the hypothesis, and make conclusions. I think I'll try it again in another problem.
