  • Stock market was a failure that changed the economy
  • When the stock market collapsed it caused a national panic
  • Investers begin to get nervous of their investments in the business
  • When the market collapsed 13,000,000 shares were sold
  • October 24,1920s was known as "Black Thursday"

  • Entertainment became a main activity for many americans in the 1920s
  • Americans would listens to radios to hear about information
  • Many american families went to theatre to watch movies and plays
  • They did these activities to get their mind off their troubles

  • In the 1930s the southern great plains suffered an eviromental disaster
  • When drought struck many crops died
  • The storm stripped buried roads,cars,and it also took away precious soil

  • The Dust Bowl was also known as "Black Blizzards"
  • These storms went on for many years
  • In some areas of the Great Plains dust piled up over 6 feet

  • This deal helped the United States dramatically
  • This deal brought the jobless careers
