TEK 8E: INCLINED PLANES AND PULLEYS

Work is the effort exerted over a certain distance. It always stays the same.

Inclined planes increases the distance and spreads out the effort.

Moveable pulleys increase the amount of force you use in order to make it easier.

Fixed pulleys change the direction to make it easier to pull.

Pulleys and Inclined Planes are examples of simple machines.

The more mass an object has, the more force is required to move it.
