NAPOLEON'S CHILDHOOD

• Napoleon was born on August 15, 1769
• At the age of 9 he went to military school
• He graduated at 16
• He then became an artillery lieutenant
• From then he commanded the entire French army

• When he became General he studied strategics and public speaking
• He was on the winning side of the French Revolution
• He attacked Italy, Malta, Austria, and Egypt
• He returned to France and made himself emperor
• He beautified France

• He crowned his baby son the king of Greece
• He invaded Russia in 1812
• He was exiled
• He returned for the Hundred Days Campaign and was defeated at Waterloo
• He was exiled and died at the age of 51
