What Are the Townshend Acts?

  • A group of items that were taxed in 1767-1770
  • Tea, Paper, glass paint exc. were items that were taxed

How did colonists feel?

  • They felt outraged
  • Contributed to the start of the Revolutionary War
  • Also made parlament angrier
  • (behind here is colonists outrageing at British troops)
