PRESENTATION OUTLINE
How do you tell who is poor and who is not
Here are the main reasons you can decide that people are poor, by there wealth, income, poverty, and health insurance coverage. If you are not poor you will most likely have a good wealth, income, and health insurance coverage.
How do we decide whether or not a nation is poor
You can decide whether or not a nation is poor for many reasons. A main way you can decide whether or not a nation is poor is if that country has poor governing and doesn't take care of the people living there. Other reasons may be bad environment, which can destroy houses, oil, which can pollute our environment, and smoke, which can easily destroy our air. Another main reason you can decide whether or not a nation is poor is if a nation is still developing, such as Cuba and Canada.
How do we draw the line to separate the poor from the non-poor
Many people have their own idea of who is poor and non poor. I also have my opinion. The line between poor and non-poor is if you make enough money to help your family live in a proper shelter and have enough food to live and work then you are non-poor. If you don't have enough food to work and live.
Does poverty in the United States have the same critical attributes as world poverty,?
No, because a poor person in the U.S.A. could be rich in Afghanistan. If you got twenty dollars a day you would be rich enough to live for two days someplace else. Also how many food-banks do you know are in Afghanistan? Because there is at least three food-banks near my house. That is just one neighborhood, so how many in the U.S.A?
