  • Hematology is he study of the physiology of the blood.

  • Residency - Three years of clinical training, after completing medical school
  • Fellowship -Three years required in a fellowship program.

Job Description

  • Hematologist spend some time in a lab, looking at the blood samples. They may prescribe and perform many different tests, procedures, and blood work to gather as much information as they can on their patient to ensure that an appropriate diagnosis is provided.
