Shingles
- Shingles is a virus similar to chicken pox.
- After you get chicken pox the shingles virus lays dormant in your system, it can stay dormant for years.
When something is dormant it means it is like it is dead but can come alive at any time, or something must make it become living by affecting its surrounding environment (temperature, humidity, nutrients). Then when it wakes it can just go on living.
