Voting issues

why is voting so important?

If voting is high - indication that there is a great amount of commitment/loyalty to the political system. People are interested in the welfare of the nation.

If voting is low - people don't care about political system that governs them. Elected people can't say that their decisions are fully supported when a lot of people don't vote.
