Mike Kelly was there for a long time and Gunter is his brother and bullies him.

he thought it was a dead body and that his other brother, Reuben,
was next.

Mike told everybody about what Friedrich buried.
They all wanted to check it out.
Friedrich tried to stop them,but he couldn't.

He dug it out and it was cash and valuables.
Mike was embarrassed because it was not a dead body.
But Friedrich did not take Mike back to the orphan home.
