PRESENTATION OUTLINE

FOOD IN JAPAN

A lot of times they put a wax replica of what their food looks like in the window near the entrance.

Often times you sit on the floor with pillows. This is known as zashiki.

Before eating everyone will receive a wet towel to clean your hands before eating.

Most often you have a set of chopsticks already set at your table to use. Most often they're disposable.

When paying, it's not common to pay at the table. And usually people pay in dollars.

At cheap restaurants, you can buy "meal tickets" at a vending machine. You hand them to the stuff when ordering.

They usually don't tip in Japan. Instead you just say. "Thank you for the meal."
