IT WAS A FORMAL TYPE OF WEAR.

Most men wear suits and ties, and usually a hat to keep the sun off there head
Women usually wore dress/skirt type cloths like this...

They pretty much ate what you can grow in your back yard. Including stuffed celery, carrots and peas, baked ham, walnut bread and a lot more.

WHEN DID THEY START AND WHY?

Believe it or not, gangsters actually started in the 1920s, because of the prohibition law, alcohol was banned, and gangsters (like al Capone) kept the business running.

WHAT WAS THE MUSIC OF THE 20s?

JAZZ!! Jazz was very popular in the 1920's. A very famous artist named Luis Armstrong, was probably the most popular artist in the 1920's, Jazz was very popular for bars.

HARLEM RENAISSANCE

The Harlem Renaissance was originally called the. "New Negro Movement" the movement included the new African American cultural expressions across the urban areas in the northwest and Midwest United States.
