My definition of monumental architecture is architecture with a definition or a story behind them.

EXAMPLES OF MONUMENTAL ARCHITECTURE

  • Verona Arena
  • Ampitheatre of El Djem
  • Pula Arena
  • The Colosseum
  • Roman Theatre of Merida

All these structures would be located in Italy.
All of these structures still stand today,but with minor damages.

The most important monumental architecture to me is the colosseum.
