who are we?

  • Kay Scott – Jarvis is a qualified Equine Coach, who aims to provide a competitive, educational and ethical edge to her coaching. Kay was an Equine Lecturer and Course Manager at South Staffs College for over 10 years. Whilst continuing to develop her education and knowledge in the area of Equitation Science, Kay coaches others to widen and develop tools in the saddle. Kay's training is achieved through conferences, symposiums and lessons with Dr Andrew McLean, Manu McLean and Lisa Ashton of EquiSci, also attending the International Society of Equitation Science annual conferences. Kay is a keen affiliated competitor and is a registered member of British Dressage and British Show Jumping. -

what are we?

  • Rockstar Equitation Centre is a professional licensed Riding Establishment offering lessons to the public on well trained obedient horses. REC is also a BHS approved livery yard and facility hire centre that aims to provide ethical and sustainable horse training and equine management focused on evidence based learning. REC helps to give a clear understanding of how horses learn so we can adapt a training method that places the welfare of the horse at the heart of the process.
  • Rockstar Equitation Centre is a licensed Riding Establishment offering lessons to the public. R.E.C also provide fun, enjoyable and educational training with professional, qualified and friendly staff right from our mini members to our more mature clients in their 70s. REC offers a range of services to include DIY, PART, FULL, WORKING & COMPETITION LIVERY, plus the opportunity to train on obedient riding school horses and train with Kay Scott - Jarvis, equine coach who aims to provide a competitive, educational and ethical edge to her coaching.
