  • The executive branches main duty is to carry out the laws.
  • They can approve or veto bills
  • Make treaties
  • The President and Vice President are apart of it
  • You must be 35 years old
  • 2 terms (4 years each)

LEGISLATIVE (2)

  • (SENATE)
  • 100 seats (2 for each state)
  • 6 year term (no limits)
  • You must be 30 years old and a U.S. citizen for 9 years

  • 2 year term (no limits)
  • You must be a US citizen for 7 years & 25 years old
  • There most important duty is to make the laws
  • Regulate trade
  • 435 seats

JUDICIAL

  • The judicial branches main duty is to interpret the laws.
  • We depend on the judicial branch to protect our rights.
  • Supreme Court
  • The only qualifications are to be a U.S. citizen and a resident
  • The powers are given by the constitution,
