WHERE ARE CAMELS

CAMEL LIVE IN AFRICA AND ASIA BUT MOST CAMELS LIVE IN THE ARABIAN DESERT IN JORDAN

HABITAT

A CAMELS HABITAT is in the Arid Dessert and Scrubland

Adaptations

  • Camels have fat in their hump and stomach and they use the fat when food is scarce
  • Camels have padded feet so when they walk in the dessert they don't sink in quick sand
  • Camels have a thick coat of hair or fur that protects them from the hot dessert sun
