WHERE/WHEN

• Osce's one many headquarter is in Vienna
• Osce started and succeeded its first mission around in 1970
• Canada plays an important role in helping osce

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE

• Osce's purpose is to insure safety in countries by sending trained troops to keep the people safe
• They also help the environment which you will find out later

THE GOALS

• The main goal for osce is to stop wars in every country and recently they are trying to do that in the Middle East
• Another goal is to ensure safety at the borders of the countries that are participate in the organiztaion
• There are many goals but this last one is important they try to make equal rights for children

• In 2005 Canada joined osce even though they came pretty late they made a big difference
• In 2012 after 20 years they stoped the crisis in Kyrgyzstan
• In 2014 they did the same in Bosnia
• That same year they helped over 20 countries

HOW OSCE HELPS ON AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

• Osce help maintain peace in over 20 countries
• Over a period of time they stopped war in countries that have threatening rivalries
• Also they have helped give children there rights they deserve

ADVANTAGES

• No matter how threatening the problem is they consistently help solve the crisis
• They do not care what religion the country is but they still help them
• For employees the good part is they could be from anywhere around the world

DISADVANTAGES

• It takes them a long time to react to a crisis
• Although they are consistent they take a long time to accomplish there goals

HOW OSCE HELPS THE ENVIRONMENT

• In countries that have a lot of bomb blast they ruin the soil so once helps farmers regrow there crops
• Osce creates a lot dams to stop floods
• Osce helps poor countries filter there dirty water
