RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

  • It's function- moves oxygen from the outside environment into the body
  • Breathing- is the movement of air into and out of your lungs
  • Pharynx- air moves from the nose downward into the throat
  • Larynx- organ made of cartilage and muscle which produce our voice.

  • Atria- where blood from the body moves in the heart
  • Ventricle- moves blood out of the heart into the body
  • Arteries- carries oxygenated blood to the body, made of 3 layers.
