  • Arbitrary color is used by the artist for purely emotional or aesthetic reasons.

COLOR WHEEL

  • organized to show the theoretical relationship between hues.

PRIMARY HUES

  • hues are the hues from which all other hues are mixed.

SECONDARY HUES

  • Made by mixing equal amounts of two primary hues

INTERMEDIATE HUES

  • Created by mixing unequal amount of primaries
