13th AMENDMENT

IN MY OWN WORDS:

WHY HAVE IT:

• This amendment needed to be put in place because people were being
• owned by other people and that is very unfair and inhumane.

WHAT IT MEANS TO ME

• This is important to me because I feel that
• people should be treated equally always.

IT'S MEANING TO ME:

• This amendment doesn't affect me as much others
• however, I still think everyone should be treated the same

SOCIETY:

• This has helped society a lot to become
• a whole group instead of sections.
• We still have discrimination but it is getting
• better with the new laws being made.
