HOW TO PREVENT PROBLEMS

Untitled Slide

  • Stop polluting the air> because the gases and bad air goes into the animals and plants breath it all in.
  • Stop littering> because the animals and plants could take in all the rubbish the lays around.
  • Stop burning fossil fuels> because the animals and plants will get covered in oil and gases.
  • Stop building houses, shops ect that we don't need> because the animals, plants and the habitats will be destroyed.

WHAT I LEARNT

Untitled Slide

  • I learnt that Australia's native species and there habitats are being destroyed because of human activity. Us humans are killing the animals, plants and there homes because of the way we are treating out wild life, we are polluting the air, burning our fossil fuels, littering ect.
  • I learnt about the species that are endangered, extinct or vulnerable.

PRAC REPORT

Untitled Slide

  • In the prac report, we found out that the soil couldn't have plant life in it because there might still be bacteria and harsh chemicals left in the soil that could kill the plants.
  • When we took soil samples from the coastal park, we run some tests to see the the PH level, and the salinity level.
  • Soil sampl PH: 7 and it was neutral.
  • Soil sample salinity: 1 and it was non sailine.

WHAT IS HABITAT LOSS?

Untitled Slide

  • Habitat loss is when an animal or plants home is destroyed. Hence the name Habitat loss.
  • Is can be caused by:
  • Littering
  • Pollution
  • Burning fossil fuels
  • Building things we don't need

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP THIS

Untitled Slide

  • To prevent habitat loss, we can:
  • Advertise what is happening to raise awareness
  • Don't litter.
  • Be careful on what we are polluting
  • Cut down on burning fossil fuels
  • Stop building things we don't need, or build them somewhere where we aren't hurting the habitats and the species.
