• The authors intent in these chapters was to show that everyone goes through changes and you can't just ignore them.

• The authors intent was to show that everyone is different in their own way.

Chapters 9, 10, 11, and 12

• The authors intent for these chapters being different isn't always bad and you can always gain from your differences.
