GREENLACEWINGS

THIER SCIENTIFIC NAME IS CHRYSOPIDAE CHRYSOPERLA

The adults have golden heads and long sticklike green bodies and can be up to one inch long. Their four wings, which can be up to three inches long, are clear.

Green Lacewings don't sting or bite. They eat aphids and other small bugs, because of that they aren't considered a pest

Lacewings go through complete metamorphis. Which has four stages

Larva and adults eat the same thing. Some examples are aphids,scale insects, and whiteflies.

Green lacewings live in the area between Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina and Alabama.
