DEADLY VIRUSES

  • The most contemporary deadly virus is the Ebola virus. It originated from Africa and requires a strict quarantine should one get it
  • The next deadly virus that people have heard off before is the West Nile Virus. This is usually transmitted from mosquitoes.
  • Rabies is a significant killer. In a podcast by Tim Howard, he and his team of scientists talk about what rabies can do
  • Marburg virus is also another killer. It originated in 1967 and also from infected monkeys, but this had a devastating effect
  • Perhaps the biggest killer of all is the HIV virus. It still continues to claim lives as the nature of the virus is relentless

EXPLANATION FOR EXTERMINATION

  • Ebola and West Nile are foreign. Foreign viruses are incurable in the US. Therefore that is one cause of death by virus
  • Another reason viruses are deadly is because of the method of attacking a victim. When Marburg virus attacks a victim, the victim incurs symptoms which lead to death
  • Strength of a virus can make it deadly as well. When the rabies virus is inside a body, it finds its way to the brain, killing numerous organs in the process, which can cause failure
  • Composition of one's body can be the difference between life and death. Viruses that are innocuous to one person is not to another, like sex transmitted viruses. This also leads to deaths
