(I NEED TO ADD PICTURES)
2.
TIME
The Silk Road lasted from second century BC to fourteenth century AD.
It started from Chang'an which is now Xian and ended in the Mediterranean.
This connected the China and The Roman Empire.
It went through India and Persia
3.
SILK AND TRADES
Obviously, silk cloth was the main trade product.
People all over wanted to get this silk that China had made for thousands of years (called land of silk)
for its softness and how expensive and beautiful it looked
Other things that were traded- teas, salt, sugar, porcelain, and spices
4.
BROUGHT PEOPLE TOGETHER
The Silk Road was one of the major building blocks of cultural diversion
and really connected multiple kingdoms and empires that at that time
kept to themselves and didn't really communicate with neighboring regions
The distance they had between them caused a major divide and cultures were confined to themselves
5.
AFFECT IN CHINA

It gave China a market to trade and sell items from
