THE LOSS OF TRADITIONS
- The edict of Milan legalized Christianity in 313 BC
- Christianit displaced the polytheistic Roman religion
- Took the focus away from the glory of the state
- This complicated governance
- This affected economics, administrative, and the military
The decline of Rome spiraled out of control with the spread of Christianity, and some have argued that the rise of a new faith helped contribute to the empire’s fall.
POLITICAL INSTABILITY
- The size of rome was hard to govern
- Leadership was also very inconsistent
- There were 20 emporers in 75 years
- The citizens lost trust in there leaders
- And started to cause problems and talk about rebellion
Rome took a turn for the worst with faulty leadership and the thoughts of rebellion among the people.
INVASION
- Rome had massive losses in military troops
- The empire spent many years in constant threat
- They kept getting hit with tribes invading
- And finally in 476 BC glt their deathblow
Overall the invasions by different tribes caused lowered numbers in the army and finally couldn't handle the attacks, and suffered its death blow in 476 BC.
