THE TOWER OF BABEL

THE SIN

• God put the people in one area
• He told them to believe and spread his word
• They did not listen

THE TOWER

• The people there built a tower and worshiped other Gods
• God did not like that they did this

DISPERSE

• When God found out he spread the people
• all around the Earth and none of them were close to
• each other.
• All of the people now spoke a different language

THE RESULT

• The people that built the tower
• now could not communicate
• with one another

CONCLUSION

• The people tried to show
• God that they did not need
• him
• God punished them because
• he knew that without God they were nothing
