The Nile River is where they got their water
They would flood their land for a couple months by building dams

The land does not need much water after being flooded

They grew barley, wheat, cereal grains, flax, corn,
garlic, melons, squash, lettuce, and grapes

They would plow the land after it had dried
The plow was tied to the horns of an ox
A sower would throw seeds on the ground

They would use donkeys, oxen, and horses
