BONDED LABOR

  • Labor is demanded for repayments of loan
  • 20 million ppl as bonded laborers
  • Countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal, Brazil
  • And the Caribbean islands

FORCED LABOR

  • illegally recruited by government
  • Forced to work under violence
  • Burma enslaves thousands of ppl to
  • 👆Work as porters for army or govt. projects

CHILD LABOR

  • Work in dangerous or exploitative conditions
  • Exploited through prostitution, pornography
  • Kidnapped, bought, or forced to enter sex market
  • Child sex tourism common in Asia
  • Work in factories, fields

TRAFFICKING

  • Women &children tricked and forced

  • From: Asia, Africa, Central America, East Europe, SA
  • Into: US, EU, Japan, & Middle East

TRADITIONAL

  • Bought and sold as commodities
  • Abducted from homes
  • Inherited, or given as gifts

EARLY AND FORCED MARRIAGE

  • Physical violence is often in situation
  • Common in North Africa& Asia
