TaTTOO Artist..

  • Salary- you can make up to $120k a year.
  • On average, you work 10-11 hours daily.
  • Tattoo artist take designs/drawings & permanently put them on your skin.
  • A tattoo artist's job includes drawing, sterilization, and sanitation.
  • A tattooist involves designing complicated animation & graphics,

Qualifications/Skills

  • Have a GED. Must be 18+.
  • An eye for colors. Lenient with the customer.
  • Most states require you to be an apprentice first.
  • Must be a very skilled drawer. Creative.
  • There will always be new skills to adopt.

Educational Requirements

  • Talent,and an art portfolio of all your artwork .
  • Art school and/or an apprenticeship.
  • Do not need to go to college but it's a wise choice.
  • Your GED is also not required.
  • Also, art classes will help you in your career.

Employment Outlook/Job Prospects

  • The tattoo industry is a booming business.
  • Locally, you could get a job at Hard Knox, the Mouse Trap, etc.
  • Jobs are available if you fulfill the requirements.

I CHOSE THIS CAREER BECAUSE..

  • I find tattoos interesting.
  • I personally want tattoos.
  • It's a booming industry.
  • You have the chance to make a lot of money.
  • It seem like an interesting subject.

  • I need to improve in my drawling.
  • Favorite project was the monsters because I like clay.
  • Least favorite, ink & pen buildings.
  • As an artist, I have improved by being more creative.
