GENE FLOW

  • AKA- Migration
  • Gene flow is when a new breed of the same species passes genes to one who doesn't have the same.
  • Ex: When flowers from one side of the river transports pollen to flowers on the other side.

MUTATION

  • A random change in DNA affecting looks and behavior
  • Ex. A fly with no wings

NATURAL SELECTION

  • Gradual process by which traits become more or less common in population
  • Ex: butterflies choose a mate that helps camouflage.
