BEGINNING

• The story begins when Katniss goes through the fence and into the woods
• She is trying to get some food for her family then Gale comes into the woods

RISING ACTION

• It was at the reaping where they had to chose one boy and one girl
• Then Katniss's younger sister got chosen to be In the Hunger Games
• But then Katniss volunteered to be tribute and took her sisters place

CLIMAX

• The climax in the story was when Katniss was in the Hunger Games fighting for her life
• In the Hunger Games you had to battle to the death
• Being in the Hunger Games was hard you had to find water, food and shelter

FALLING ACTION

• After Katniss won the Hunger Games she was popular
• She came back home to see her sister and mother
• She was also awarded food for winning the Hunger Games

ENDING

• Katniss returns home with money and food for her family
• She goes back to hunting in the woods with Gale
• She stays home with her family
