Introduction
This lesson will be for a 7th grade group of students they, where they will discover the advantages and disadvantages of eating healthy food. This is an ESL class, that's why all the search and presentations must be in English even though their first language is Spanish. At the end of the lesson students will have a presentation for the school.

Objectives

  • Students will search the advantages and disadvantages of eating healthy, and the advantages and disadvantages of eating unhealthy.
  • Students will broad their vocabulary and English speaking skill.
  • students will present a video or power point to the class.

Procedures

  • first step:Brainstorming
  • about food, healthy and unhealthy, what to do to be healthy, advantages ob eating healthy and disadvantages.

Procedures

  • Students will be divided into groups.
  • Each group will choose one of the topics after their brainstorm about healthy food.
  • each group will search and about a chosen topic related to the brainstorming list.
  • students will prepare a video or a power point presentation for the next class. We will have for presentations as there are 4 groups of 5 students in the classroom.

  • each group will decide whether if the want to prepare a video or a power point.
  • all the search and presentation will be in English.
  • the they will present to the classroom.
