PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R is for Rumble. The Socs and Greasers had the rumble and Ponyboys gang got pretty beat up. After the rumble is when Johnny died, which made Dally kill himself.
S is for Sodapop. Sodapop is Darry and Ponyboys brother. He is the second youngest and always gets stuck in the fights between Darry and Pony. He is upset by his brothers always fighting and his girlfriend left him.
T is for Tragic. Johnny's death was tragic because of how he was the gangs pet. Dally's death was tragic as well, but not as tragic because he wasn't the gangs pet like Johnny was.
U is for Uncalled for. Dally committing suicide was very uncalled for. People were expecting him to be sad but he let the cops kill him. No one expected he was gonna do that.
V is for Visit. When Randy came to visit Ponyboy after the rumble, they talked because Randy was worried about Pony. Randy said that it was Johnny not him that killed Bob and that everything was gonna be ok.
W is for Watch Out! If the Greasers walked alone they had to watch for Socs gang might jump them. That's why Ponys gang all walked together or with one of the members.
X is for Xenos. Xenos is a synonym for stranger. Johnny feels like a stranger toward his parents because they hate him. Pony feels like a stranger to his brother Darry because he feels they get in fights because they don't know or understand each other.
Y is for Yelling. Ponyboy and Darry are always yelling at each other and Soda is trying to stop it. Soda feels bad because they want him to pick a side to the yelling and arguments but he can't because he understand both sides. He runs away when Darry and Pony start yelling at each other and they have to chase him.
Z is for Zoo. After Johnny died Pony and Darry got in even more arguments. This made things more hectic and zoo-like. Also Pomy wanted to write his theme about his first trip to yen zoo.
