Paul Revere’s midnight ride was when he was trying to warn the people of Lexington and Concord.100 years after it happened Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the poem but it was not entirely factual

At Lexington Green that is where they spotted and fought the British the first time.The American General told the soldiers to retreat some did but some didn’t .

Concord was the area of the second fight.Eventually the British tried to retreat,but it didn’t work well because
the Americans chased them.

The Old North Bridge played a crucial part in the Lexington and Concord Battle.At the beginning of the Concord battle that is where the British stood

The old Manse is a house that the owner could watch the British from.This was were Henry Wadsworth great great grandfather saw the British fighting on the Old North Bridge

Battle Road is when the Patriots chased the British back.The reason it is called Battle Road is because they were fighting.

The Somerset was a British Man of war.Man of war are very large ship that had many cannons

The Doolittle prints are very important.One artist during this time named Doolittle he went to the survivors and they told him stories about what they saw and he made it into art so we would have an idea of what happened.

Bloody Butchery is when the colonists wrote this .The point was to make the Americans mad at Britain so then they would fight.

April 19 1775

On this day the Revolutionary War began.It was also one of the fiercest fights.
