Edison was born in 1847 in Milan, Ohio.

At what age did he go to school?

He first went to school at the age of eight.

At what age did he leave school?

He left school when he was 12.

Why did he leave school?

The teacher didn't realise he was slightly deaf and told Edison he was stupid.
